Because a Two State Solution was No-Where in Sight

Entomologist shares idea to solve bee crisis
Dr. Spivak’s approach relies on nature’s law of the survival of the fittest (natural selection), and some encouragement from humans (artificial selection).
A glimmer of hope! Someone has the good sense to do nothing. We need to find a big word for this.

Morons and Exploiters of Sympathy...

They're a match made in heaven. After all, who knew that costly and pointless grocery store chain Whole Paycheck Whole Foods, was running an online "Film Festival"? Think of all the carbon being expelled heating up those servers and copper wires! ForSHAME!

In any even, they too think that Bees are telling them something.

Pfft.
"Queen of the Sun: What Are the Bees Telling Us?"– A profound, alternative look at the bee crisis from Taggart Siegel, award-winning director of "The Real Dirt on Farmer John." On a journey through the catastrophic disappearance of bees and the mysterious world of the beehive, the film weaves together a story of the heart-felt struggles of beekeepers, scientists and philosophers from around the world and uncovers the long-term causes that could create one of our most urgent food crises.
Whatever. I can't wait to see if they can remember all of this stuff, or move on to some other banner cause by the time reality comes to pay a visit.

The Never-Ending Movie-enduced "Bee Crisis"

If it's news to you, that's because you haven't been propagandized yet by agitational activist types yet. The fact is that it's an illness, that man and his evil SUV driving had nothing to do with it, and that it's going away on its' own as nature travels its' course:

Listen to the bees; they're trying to warn us
Yeah, and the trees are talking to me.... I'm in paaaain! paiiiin!
The mysterious global bee crisis not only threatens agriculture worldwide; it's also a wake-up call to once-clueless suburbanites like myself.
It's one thing to undercut the contribition to humanity by suburbanites, it's another to think that a well documented mold-based disease is "mysterious".

A Desperate Appeal for the Earth: through Interpretive Dance

Time to capitalize on it is running out
The poetic dance narrative was Nyarady's way of relating her research on the bee crisis. Part of the process is definitely trying to understand things
Actually it isn't. It's the actual crisis (if any). For the Arts to "understand and mobilize" is usually a sign that "the crisis", whatever it is, has graduated into somethign socially useful to them.

In that sense, the more fake their preferred horror is, the better it is for all of us.

Now, it's an officially recognized fake crisis!
The UN on Thursday expressed alarm at a huge decline in bee colonies under a multiple onslaught of pests and pollution, urging an international effort to save the pollinators that are vital for food crops.
[... snip ...]
Honey bee colony declines in recent years have reached 10 to 30 percent in Europe, 30 percent in the United States, up to 85 percent in Middle East, said scientist Peter Neumann, one of the authors of the first ever UN report on the issue.

But in South America, Africa and Australia there were no reports of high losses.
In other words, it's a parasite as already established, not a platform to complain about pollution and human existence.

With "Hype" Placed in Scare Quotes

What would we do without an 'action plan'?
The European Commission has published a new action plan intended to shed light on reports of declining honey-bee populations across Europe, key pollinators for many of the bloc's important crop species.

At the same time, one the Europe's top scientists in the field has warned against mass hysteria, pointing out that most species have experienced epidemics at one stage or another over previous centuries, ultimately with little long-term effect.
